This coming fall we are starting an American Civilization course which will combine AP US History and AP Language. The English teacher will provide the readings and the US teacher the history. One thing they might want to look at it is the new exhibition at the Library of Congress titled
Books That Shaped America. By the way the image above is from the original copy of
The Wizard of Oz.
